I have to confess that I was extremely nervous prior to my spinal surgery. Dr Siviter was so wonderfully calm and reassuring, explaining the anaesthetic procedure and doing everything he could to put my mind at rest. This continued in the anaesthetic room where he explained each step whilst chatting to me about my past career in the WRAF (I suspect to keep my mind off what was happening!). I trusted him completely and was totally confident that he would take great care of me. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him; in fact, I felt privileged to have him as my anaesthetist.
