I was in crisis with symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and needed a solution for relief of pain and to allow the ability to work. An NHS referral was just not available despite the utmost help and fast-tracking. I had visited Dr Preeti Shah a few years previously with another related but short-term condition and knew that I could trust and depend upon her. I was able to make an appointment easily (kind and helpful assistance) to visit Dr Shah at the Wilmslow Hospital within the week and received a thorough examination and the treatments required. I have since visited Dr Shah at Trafford General where I am receiving excellent care and caring from both Dr Shah and the Rheumatology Nurse. I am fully committed to the NHS but just had to resort to a private appointment on that occasion. It was so worthwhile. Dr Shah counteracts the downsides of this condition with her vibrancy - really engaging with her patient, understanding the situation at that point and providing both treatments and other relevant solutions with compassion. Completely reassuring.
