I want to take this opportunity to thank Dr Kingston for the wonderful care I received in the Women's Hospital, Liverpool, during my recent operation. The attention I received both before and during my operation was first class. Before my operation Dr Kingston asked if I would like to listen to some music (although I still love rock-n-roll, didn't think it quite appropriate in the circumstances, and opted for Chopin and that beautiful piece from the film The Pianist.) Dr Kingston stayed by my side throughout my operation and was a constant reassurance. We talked about her little boy and his love of steam trains and that he could name so many parts of the engine, even though he was only 3-years old, and she was justifiably proud of him. Dr Kingston came to see when I returned to the hospital ward and it was so nice to see her. Once again thank you so much. I can't say it was a pleasure to have to go through this operation, but it was certainly a pleasure to meet Dr Kingston and have her by my side.

Response from Dr Liz Kingston

I hope you are now recovering well from your operation. Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. It was a pleasure for me to care for you, and I am glad that you found the music and conversation a helpful distraction that helped you through your procedure.
