Dr Doonga saved my baby’s life. My 10 week old girl was out of sorts so I had gone to a&e and was told she had cows milk alllergy. I’ve had 3 other children and I knew it wasn’t that. Dr Doonga examined my baby and immediately phoned a friend of his who is a paediatruc consultant and explained that my baby needed blood tests and antibiotics. He told me I would be admitted for a few days which I was . When I got to the hospital, the consultant saw me within minutes. They were scared that my little girl had meningitis. She’s home and well after 2 weeks of tests and treatments now. My husband and I are forever grateful to the brilliant team at Chelsea and Westminster especially all the paediatric doctors and nurses. Most importantly the brilliant Dr Doonga, who we will be keeping as our life long family doctor.
