I was having issues with tingling and pain in my fingers and wrists, probably due to home working during the Covid pandemic. I initially had a telephone conversation with Dr Chandan - he listened to everything I wanted to say and then gave an initial assessment of what he thought he was happening and recommended seeing me in person the following week. At that appointment he again asked me to summarise the issues and recommended a steroid injection. He explained what would happen and talked through any potential side effects (highlighting where they were particularly pertinent to the Covid situation). The injection itself was fine, Dr. Chandan took some time afterwards to ensure there was no adverse reaction and to answer any additional questions I had. He then followed up by telephone one week later to check on progress.
Dr. Chandan listens to what you have to say and addresses any concerns you may have. His soft-tissue injection technique was exemplary - I recommend both Dr. Chandan and Bromley Common Practice as a whole.
Dr Kiran Chandon gave me a cortisone injection yesterday he was very friendly and explained everything really well, I felt no pain from the injection and the bromley practice set up the appointment the day I actually contacted them about my condition, outstanding service and treatment
I had contact with Dr Chandan for a knee problem which he had treated before during lockdown and afterwards. During lockdown I had the need of pain patches, he monitored me every two weeks to see how I was managing on them with a telephone consult. After lockdown I had the knee injected by him, its fairly painless for me. h explained that if I was to catch covid my symptoms could be worse as the steroid lowers immunity, It didn't work this time and after a couple more face to face consultations. It was decided to get an orthopaedic opinion. I got an appointment very quickly and will be operated on in November/December to have a full knee replacement and kneecap resurfaced. I always find Dr Chandan listens to you, explains treatments/options clearly and is very reassuring.
Today I had my second steroid injection for my tennis elbow. He was very gentle and understanding to my condition. Dr Chandon went out of his way to give me information about additional treatment for my condition and messaged me a contact number for me to self refer for physio treatment.
I would like also to mention a huge thank you to all the doctors at my surgury, nurses and admin staff who I can only sing their praises. During this pandemic they have been amazing and very supportive especially when I contracted Covid in March. They all helped me through phone calls and listened to my worries and concerns.
I also had my flu jab last weekend. Wow - what a great and efficient service!
The dr helped to alleviate the pain in my left foot.
