My son James was treated at the Guildford Nuffield hospital today and Dr Justin Kirk-Bayley was his anaesthetist. Our son was absolutely terrified about having the procedure today following a bad experience at an NHS hospital, and this wonderful man made sure he had the best experience possible from start to finish. He is brilliant at engaging with the child and parents and has everyone at ease in an instant. He is funny and kept his promise of a completely stress free experience. I can honestly say the part of the procedure he was dreading the most (the canula going in and being anaesthetised) was jolly good fun and in first time. James told me he didn't even feel a scratch and really enjoyed it. I cannot thank this man enough, he is one very cool and skilled professional. Thank you
