I rarely give online feedback, and when I do it is often for the wrong reasons. I almost never give perfect scores. However, I do feel when I do encounter excellence (sadly almost never), it should be recognised, so I am writing this now. I have been to see Dr J McGilligan on two occasions now and have been extremely impressed with the care I have received. He has clearly demonstrated to me that he has exceptional clinical, professional and personal skills and is an exemplary member of the medical profession. I am not in the least bit surprised to see countless other positive reviews espousing the same thing as it is plainly obvious that he epitomises everything a doctor should be. I wouldn't hesitate to firmly recommend Dr J McGilligan to any friends, family or colleagues and I only wish there were more GPs (and human beings) just like him.

Was very kind and gentle, discussed the procedure i was having very clearly willing to answer any questions i had. On operation day he kept his cool and made to sure to keep talking to me to calm any nerves i may of had. A very pleasant doctor.

Had a vasectomy and Dr McGilligan was fantastic. Confident, knowledgeable and patient, as well as making sure that all my queries had been answered, before going ahead. He gave me a running commentary of what was going on, as well as his thoughts on a range of subjects, which kept my mind off the procedure. I would happily recommend him to anyone requiring this procedure.
