This Doctor takes his time. Listens well and is informative. I never feel rushed, he has a reputation for running late but this is because he spends time with his patients and takes care, so i am totally prepared to wait for this Doctor as he's worth it.

I was seen by Dr McGilligan for some minor surgery as a referral. Dr McGilligan reviewed my situation, confirmed the diagnosis and explained the procedure to me. I was comfortable throughout and Dr McGilligan checked that the local anaesthetic was effective before proceeding. The procedure took about ten minutes, and Dr McGilligan kept me distracted with conversation which was much appreciated. I am pleased to wholeheartedly recommend Dr McGilligan for minor surgery.

I see Dr Joseph McGilligan today he Is quitely spoken, which put me at ease immediately I was seeing him for an hydrocortisone injection, and was quite nervous, he explained everything in detail, but also in a way I could understand, which made me feel much more comfortable, about the hole thing. It was much better than I thought. Always had good care from everyone at the practise.
