Dr McGilligan has a great manner about him. He isn't too formal which puts you at ease, and he listens very attentively and patiently as you try to articulate the problem. I found he took the time to fully explain his thought process and the recommendations he was making. I left feeling very confident he had taken everything seriously, considered the wider picture and suggested appropriate action.

I was very impressed with the appointment I had with Dr Joseph McGilligan. He really listened to my concerns about my chronic pain, offered me some reassurance and also some tests to try and identify the cause of the pain which I am very grateful for. I came away from the appointment feeling more positive. I would very much recommend him as a doctor.

Dr McGilligan is knowledgeble, thorough, professional and friendly. He really took his time to introduce about his background, listen to what I have to say or what I need, explain to me in great details what causing my condition, what I should do and send more info to read at home. The best consultation ever and I did not feel that I have to rush as I have limited time like other GP appointments.

It was a refreshing change to have a doctor who made the time to talk even though it meant he was way behind with his appointments. Maybe more time should be given for each appointment, as I am sure it would be counter productive, saving time, as if the condition is treated on the first appointment, you make less appointments in the long run.
