Dr John Griffitha came to see me before my hip revision surgery at Th Manor Hospital and was very friendly, cheerful and reassuring. He obviously had a good relationship with the surgeon and I felt confident I would be in good hands. He also explained the nature of the anaesthesia I would be having. My only concern was that the night following the operation I did not sleep at all and I don’t know whether this was due to the medication used to bring one round from the anaesthetic? I was however impressed that Dr Griffiths came to see me again a day or two after the operation which I felt was very caring.
