I have just been discharged from the Day Stay Unit at Broomfield Hospital after a biopsy operationJ and would like to express my thanks to Mr Smith and Dr Jones and all concerned for the excellent treatment I received whilst in their care. In particular Dr Hywel Jones who came to my bedside shortly after I arrived and discussed my situation and concerns. His forthright answers and understanding gave me a feeling of confidence in what was to be done. Similarly, in the Theatre, his good leadership and helpfulness to the Team and Staff was evident and I feel sure they all appreciated his excellent manner. After the procedure Dr Jones and Mr Smith came to see me again to explain what had been done and put me in the loop. Good confidence in them and their Staff came through and I left with a feeling of wellbeing, and I would like to express my sincere thanks to them all.

Very specific about what I would experience. This was very helpful to know how I may feel before and after surgery and proved to be totally correct. Aftercare check on me whilst I was in the ward and advice given on how to manage other symptoms. Cheerful and personable, very pleased he was my anaesthetist.
