Dr Jones has the gift of making you feel totally confident in him and the work he does, I feel very priviledged to have had him as my anaesthetist. In addition to his medical skills he has a natural empathy and gentleness making each patient feel special. In spite of a busy work schedule he is able to spend time with his patients, without it feeling rushed, and radiates an inner calmness.

I have just been a patient of Dr Hywel Jones, he was the most amazing Dr I have ever come across! He was honest, caring but took time to explain the procedure and what to expect! I was very nervous and he put me at ease!! He genuinally cares about his patients and loves his job!! I hope I never have to go back to hospital but if I do I would request Dr Jones! Thank you so much

I had my breast reduction on 18th October 2017. Dr Jones was my anaesthetist and Mr Smith was my surgeon. They are an amazing team. I cannot thank Dr Jones enough for his care and skill in looking after me. Dr Jones came to see me before and after my operation and was so thorough taking so much time to discuss my history with me and explain all about the anaesthetic and what would happen. He was very cheery and put me at my ease. I was truly in safe hands. After my operation Dr Jones also explained all about my pain management and how I would feel. His words were very comforting. This was a major operation and at 66 years of age I cannot believe how well I felt after the anaesthetic thanks to Dr Jones. His team were fabulous and my treatment was first class. I have every confidence in Dr Jones and feel very lucky to have been in his excellent care.

Dr Jones answered all my questions and explained how the drugs worked prior to the operation and following the operation explained the drugs he had given me and any side effects I might suffer.He gave me contact details if I required any help from him when I got home.
