I had a very positive experience with Hywel Jones. Right from my admission he came and explained everything that was going to happen and made me feel relaxed and comfortable. A few jokes to relax me helped too. Thank you for looking after me and the gin cocktail was especially excellent. Fantastic interpersonal skills and a credit to your profession.

I cannot big Dr Hywel Jones up enough. He was very informative before and after the operation. He put me at ease about having a spinal anaesthetic instead of general. He came to see me every day I was in hospital to discuss pain relief for when I was discharged home. He is a lovely calming Anaesthetist who I would pleased to have if I ever have another operation.

I was extremely nervous about my operation and Hywel was truly God sent. He made me feel completely at ease, reassured me that everything was going to be okay and I completely trusted him. He has an excellent manner about him, he listened to me and I immediately felt calm. If I ever have to have an operation again, I would want him there right by my side. Thank you for making me feel so calm at a very anxious time.
