I had a partial knee replacement last Thursday and was very very scared . I was advised by Dr Jones that I would be sedated for the procedure and that I would not feel a thing and would be in great hands. I was very anxious as I was terrified I would wake up in the procedure and hear sawing and drilling noises. I have to say he put me at such ease with his calming manner and gave me the confidence to go ahead. I have to say I never felt or heard a thing. I would strongly recommend Dr Hywel Jones for your forthcoming procedure, A huge thank you to him and to the consultant Dr Stephen Palmer who carried out the surgery x

Hywel Jones Where do I begin , from our first meeting till my thyroidectomy You have been brilliant . You have a great personality your funny witty and most of all very professional. I felt very much at ease in your care and I cannot thank you enough for looking after me . I respect you and all you colleagues in day stay I wish you all well. A very friendly gentleman who puts you at ease straight away with this calm and professional approach to care. Mr. Jones is happy to discuss exactly what the patient wants, to come to the best possible option for you as an individual. I asked for Mr.Jones for my recent operation as I had an operation 5 years ago when I was in his care. I cannot recommend Hywel Jones enough.

I was due for a knee replacement operation. I was concerned about anaesthesia because I suffer badly from apnoea. Dr Jones called me and spent a good deal of time explaining everything that would occur. He took complete ownership of my worry over apnoea and after the call I was very confident. His explanation was what happened; he came to check I was OK after the procedure and was very professional. He was quite exceptional and I thank him.
