As a nervous first time surgery patient I really didn't know what to expect and had certain fears of having a general anesthetic and how I would feel when I woke up. Dr Jones put my mind at ease, explained everything thoughly and was just generally open, friendly and I felt in safe hands. Thanks for the great care.

Under the care of Mr Jones, at Springfield Hospital, I can honestly that my operation was a pleasant experience.
From Consultation to post op, he was fabulous . He is extremely professional, very skilled, and his communication with his patients is fabulous. He made me feel totally at ease, and listened to me.
He has total respect for his colleagues too, which makes a happy efficient team.

I checked into Springfield Hospital on Friday 17/09/2021 for Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. Dr Hywel Jones was my anaesthetist. Hywel came to my room, introduced himself and explained what was going to happen. Pryor to surgery Hywel administered the anaesthetic reassuring me all the time.
Post Op we met up again, Hwel had to deal with a minor bleed witch he did with minimal fuss.
After a reasonable nights rest Hwel revisited me, gave me a check over, and again went through what had happened and what to expect. All these facts were on the A4 fact sheet that he gave me on his 1st visit, which i found very informative.
