The care I received from this surgeon was outstanding. I was scared that I'd be left with a limp, or leg length difference, but to date I have none of that. He has taken away my pain and given me my life back. Shepton Mallett Hospital was outstanding, as was my total care package. I highly recommend this Surgeon, and this place. He'd had a long day, and I thought my surgery would get cancelled, as I was last on the list, and went down later than expected. That's because he doesn't rush, you're given the time it takes. The whole Team stayed on to complete my hip replacement, even though parts of it took longer than expected. I think they all went above and beyond for me, as I would have been devastated not to receive my planned surgery. The wound is healing well now, and throughout I was kept aware and informed. Mr Arnaout was well prepared for the appointment having read my file and given my clinical presentation identified the options/actions available. His clinical approach was most professional, his manner was pleasant, he was patient and communicated in a clear and concise manner. he took the time to check my understanding of options available, the benefits of them and associated risks. He was very understanding and supportive of my need to have my concommitent problem - prostate cancer treated prior to knee treatment. A good consultation and I left as a satisfied patient.
