Dr Daniel Armstrong explained very clearly what the operation entailed.
He also explained the expected outcome, possible complications, eg, restricted movement and grip with my thumb.
He also told me that there would be a lot of pain straight after surgery when the numbness wore off, he was quite right, but considering the pain i already had it was an acceptable trade.
He was very truthfull in what to expect, but not in a way to frighten me, only so that i could understand and make my own decisions.
He was friendly, happy and put me at ease, but was also very professional .
I would rcommend him to anyone.
He has made an excellent job of an arthritic vary painful thumb, which is now steadily becoming pain free and useable again.
Great surgeon. Very happy with the results. Listened and understood
Dan is always extremely pleasant, upbeat and a gentleman. He takes great care to explain all elements of surgery and recovery. He has a natural ability to put one at ease from the get go, being relaxed, amusing and very honest at the same time.
Thank you for all you have done for me. I am most grateful to you and your team.

Dr Armstrong was very professional, such a happy person which made me feel very relaxed when I was talking to him regards my operation. When I was in the theatre having my operation I was a little nervous until Dr Armstrong's pleasant humour calmed me down.
Thank you Dr Armstrong
I would highly recommend Dan Armstrong. He spotted a problem with my hand that other doctors had missed which required surgery. He guided me through the whole process, keeping me informed of what was happening at all times.
After being through a traumatic experience it was the confidence and personable attitude of Dan that put me totally at ease. It may sound strange, after everything I had been through, but I was a little sad to be discharged from his care today.
