Very good experience. I had great care and Dan Armstrong was thoughtful and informative, explaining what he intended to do and what might be the outcome. His surgery was completely successful and after nearly two months since the operation, I have regained nearly all movement and flexibility in my wrist.
I am very grateful to Dan and cannot thank him enough for his care.
I recently had a distal radial ulna replacement which was done by Mr Armstrong. I would like to thank him for all his excellent care. He is a brilliant surgeon and I am very grateful to him for giving me back my arm. I can't say enough about the care I received during my operation. Thank you
He listened carefully to everything I said and was extremely thorough in his actions thereafter in terms of X ray hand therapy and discussed potential future surgery in detail He was also empathetic and very little likeable
Just awesome - Mr Armstrong has performed four hand surgeries on my hands - 2 carpel tunnel releases and two trapeziectomis. He has an amazing ability to put you at ease and guide you through the procedure and aftercare. He treats the whole person not just the hand. My husband was extremely unwell after cancer and the support I had from Mr Armstrong was above and beyond. At my last appoint post surgery a few weeks ago he took the time to remember and ask about my husband. I have already recommended him to my friend who has similar hand problems. The day after my trapeziectomy I was able to knit - which is my passion. It felt like I had been given my life back. I am absolutely delighted with the care I received. I even watched the 'exciting bits' of all the operations.
My name is Elizabeth Kirkham, I had hand surgery done by Dr Armstrong,I found him very kind and helpful and understanding when I needed his help, with pain relief and support, before my surgery, and also during and after having my operation.
I found Dr Armstrong to have a lovely manner, sense of humour, which i personally liked in him, it put me very much at ease with him at the very first meeting.
I felt very confident having Dr Armstrong perform my operation for me, he is a very good surgeon, i would recommend anyone who is needing hand surgery to him.
Now not forgetting all the lovely caring nurses, who are working beside Dr Armstrong, in clinic, and in theatre too, they were so kind and helpful to me, as only a few week before i'd had another operation on my back, they made me very comfortable at all times, and i truly thank you all for easing me through the surgery.
