Dr Targett took a logical approach to the diagnosis of my condition, which ensured I received the correct treatment. I found Dr Targett's manner to be very reassuring.

Very good consultation. Listened to my questions, explained clearly and put me at ease when dealing with a sensitive subject. Felt confident in Dr Targett's diagnosis, assessment of my condition and the next steps advised. In all honesty, I'd struggle to suggest any improvements.

Chris Target is just about perfect! Both I and my partner have complex medical conditions including my partners Crohn's Disease and my COPD, heart problems and a spine collapsing. Chris is understanding in consultation, confident in diagnosis and has real depth in after care, he always leaves you feeling that if you have a further worry you can go back to him directly - not another Doctor but direct back to himself. For me personally he has expedited MRI scans to speed my journey toward spinal surgery, spotted my symptoms of COPD without the use of a spirometry as it was banned during Covid19 - had me CT scanned to confirm the condition and his diagnosis. He has worked with me over 2 years to get my blood pressure and BPM down to an acceptable level without just throwing massive amounts of beta blockers in to me. What this doctor provides you with though, most importantly, is a feeling of overwhelming confidence that you are being looked after properly. A really comfortable place to be when you're not well.

Dr Chris is brilliant. He listens, he acts upon issues straightaway. He’s always cheerful and very easy to talk to. Because he is so good, people like to see him and so it can sometimes take a while to get an appointment. This is far from a criticism, it just proves how well respected and liked he is. He bring a huge amount to the surgery.
