I'm a 79 years old pensioner who 2 months ago had a rash appear on my right arm. Having consulted the doctor I was prescribed Diprobase which didn't seem to work very well as the rash was now evident on almost all of my body. I was then prescribed a Hydrocortisone cream but was told to only use it for 10 days. This ointment seemed to have some result but did not completely cure the problem as since stopping this product the rash has got worse. It was eventually decided that I should see a dermatologist. Being in somewhat a aggravating situation with the rash getting worse and causing me terrible itching, I'm told that the first appointment will be towards the end of September. That is 11 weeks I have to put up with my suffering. I will now have to go private. Who still believes the NHS is still a good thing?.
