Had a BCC skin cancer removed by Dr Warrilow yesterday. I was seen very promptly and out at the time they predicted. He explained everything very well to me and didn't rush anything. Totally painless procedure and incredibly neat sutures put in. I liked the way he chatted to me throughout and wasn't at all patronising. I almost wish I had another skin cancer so I could go again.

What a fantastic service! I saw Dr Warrilow a few weeks' ago at the Charing Surgery for a cyst excision. The Dr and his assistant were very professional, friendly and caring and took the time to explain everything and put me at my ease. He listened to my concerns and answered my questions, even going to the trouble of drawing some diagrams to show what he meant. I also had the added complication of a broken ankle at the time, which made being comfortable on the bed whilst the surgery was carried out a little difficult, but the Dr was very patient and helpful and made sure my ankle was OK before starting the procedure. The actual surgery went perfectly and was not painful at all. Dr Warrilow did an extremely good job with the cyst excision which was on my forehead. He even managed to cut the skin in such a way that there is barely any trace of a scar just a few weeks later. I was amazed how little it hurt afterwards and how well it healed. The Dr had explained beforehand that there may be some bruising and swelling, but he carried out the procedure with such care that there was nothing like that afterwards at all. I would not hesitate at all to recommend this brilliant doctor and his assistant to all. The service that they provide at Charing Surgery is invaluable. I wish we could all have a Dr Warrilow and this service at our GP surgeries!

My appointment was for removal of Dermoid Cyst from my back. Dr Warrilow fully explained the procedure to me,using diagrams and offered me a choice of level of removal of the cyst. He and the nurse present, sorry did not get her name, were very welcoming, explaining everything calmly and clearly in layman's terms. The local anaesthetic was administered with little discomfort as were the stitches. He advised about aftercare and ref when to have stitches removed. I was very pleased with my experience today.

Dr Warrilow was polite and friendly and interested in doing the best for me. My appointment was a 20min consultation, but within a minute he saw what needed to be done and instead of referring me for another appointment in 3months time, made the decision with my consent to complete the minor surgery within my scheduled appointment at the time. This was great for me as I didn't have to return 3 months later as this is not a local surgery for me. Dr Warrilow explained in detail exactly what he was going to do and listened to my questions. I didn't feel rushed and unimportant like I do with some other doctors. I totally recommend him.

I had previously had cysts removed by Dr Warrilow. He is empathetic and explains everything with clear diagrams as to the procedure. He was assisted by 'the other' Dr Warrilow and the wound is healing nicely. Will definitely return if another cyst develops. I was also impressed by the flow through the centre and infection control. Just wish he was my GP.
