I took my son to see Dr Andy Montgomery. Andy made us feel comfortable, listened carefully and understood the issues that my son has had to live with. He diagnosed inattentive ADHD and explained what that entailed. He explained that my son was not 'lazy', that his difficulties throughout his school and working life were explainable and that there was help available was a huge relief. Andy prescribed my son with some tablets to help him focus. This was done carefully, with weekly monitoring. Andy then reviewed my son and we are in the process of setting up a shared care agreement with our GP. Andy responds quickly and attentively when I contact him.
