My elderly father received an appalling level of 'care' from this man. Following Polychronis's insistence that he should continue his prescribed treatment despite severe and prolonged hallucinations and delirium, my father was completely incapacitated requiring hospitalisation for several weeks. My mother contacted Polychronis to say she was transferring my father to the NHS, at which point Polychronis told her that by moving my father to the NHS, he would not receive treatments that were available privately. On checking this with the NHS oncologist, this was completely untrue. Not only that, but she was also told that my father's case had not warranted the medication that he had responded so badly to, nor any other treatment in the short term. I would not recommend Polychronis under any circumstances.
