I recently saw this Consultant both privately and under the NHS. I had previously had a very distressing experience with another Rheumatologist. Dr Hepburn listens patiently, maintains eye contact and generally allows the patient to express how quality of life is being affected. Also gives space for patient discussion about the best way forward to manage the symptoms. Felt I could say everything I needed to and left the appointments with much more confidence for the future.

First consultant to look me in the eye when talking to me. Was genuinely interested in finding a correct diagnosis even contacting me to give me my results. I am an NHS patient but I felt like a VIP under his care, excellent consultant and a real credit to Worthing.
