I recently saw this Consultant both privately and under the NHS. I had previously had a very distressing experience with another Rheumatologist. Dr Hepburn listens patiently, maintains eye contact and generally allows the patient to express how quality of life is being affected. Also gives space for patient discussion about the best way forward to manage the symptoms. Felt I could say everything I needed to and left the appointments with much more confidence for the future.
