Doctor Mayet is without doubt an exceptionally gifted practitioner. My wife and I have seen him several times this year and on each occasion we have found him to be courteous, friendly and welcoming. He exudes such a calming presence in his surgery and listens to everything you say to him. Nothing is too much trouble for him and you leave after a consultation feeling on top of the world. He has great empathy and really is a very kind and human man. We can only hope that he remains at Fern House for a long, long time.
Just a quick word of praise too for the people on reception, in the pharmacy and of course the nursing staff. Everyone we have come across this year have been really supportive to us.

I have been a patient at Fern House for many years, whenever I see Dr Mayet, he has always been so welcoming and encouraging, he listens and is very supportive. He makes you feel important, he is caring and kind. I come away feeling like I’ve visited a private medical GP (which I’ve had the experience of with my in-laws). I’ve recently gone through an awaful family situation which has taken its toll on me, and without his support, I’m not sure how I would have got through! In my opinion Dr Mayet just needs to keep doing what he is doing, because it works and he is fantastic. Thank you.

Saw dr mayet for my daughter this morning,polite,courteous & pleasant is how the consultation went.Lots of information given,advice given to reassure & referal sent.All clear & understanding of outcome.Knows our family well & makes us as patients,trust a decision we come to together.

I have always found Dr Mayet to be professional, a great listener and totally helpful in any way he can be. I always recommend him to friends and family who are also patients at Fern House Surgery. I would actually wait for an appointment in order to see him rather than another doctor. If you want a first class doctor who doesnt leave things to chance then hes the doctor you should see
