I have seen Dr Mayet for myself and also my two year old daughter and have been extremely satisfied with the care and advice that he has provided. He has gone above and beyond to ensure that thorough testing took place to rule out any other conditions, which I am grateful for. In addition, he continued to prescribe creams for my daughter’s eczema until we found one that worked for her. As a mother suffering from low iron and not sleeping due to a child with itchy hands, I am truly grateful to be functioning normally now! Thank you.

Dr Mayet has been my GP for 11 years after he spotted symptoms of a serious brain condition. Since then he has been a huge support during some very difficult times. He always has time to talk through any concerns I have and offer advice when needed. I could not recommend Dr Mayet highly enough. Dr Mayet is my doctor I have been under him about 3 years now .. it was the best thing I ever did was stick with him he is so supportive and understanding he listens and guides you through anything u need his advice on. He will explain everything so clear so you understand the situation more clearer. He is very further and gets things done quickly and efficiently . I wouldn’t ever change my doctor he really has helped me through such difficult times. I would highly recommend.

I registered at Fern House Surgery in 2004 when I moved to Witham. From that time I have always been treated respectfully and kindly by all contacts with any doctor I’ve seen, any nurse or receptionist. From the time I started consulting Dr Mayet, I have found him to be very thorough, extremely helpful, not much given to adopt a wait-and-see approach but always respectful of what I, because of strong belief, cannot agree to. No human being is perfect, but to the extent possible, I trust this Doctor. Many of my friends, not patients at Fern House, who had their vaccinations there, praised the way it was organised, to which I add my own commendation. A very minor suggestion is the system of calling patients to their respective GP - it can often sound not clear.

Dr Mayet is responsive, gives an honest opinion on circumstances and is open minded to patient, opinions and feedback. He and his team were responsible for the vaccine rollout at the surgery which has been a great success.Very streamlined, queue free and straight forward.
