He gives you time and listens to you which is unlike some of the others in the practice. If he says he is going to do something it is usually completed before you leave the surgery.

I have Bipolar and recently my mania has been extremely erratic. Dr Mayet has, very patiently, listened to me and supported me through what has been a very difficult time. Thankfully, when my Bipolar is at is worst I know I can always rely on Dr Mayet to try his best to help me for which I am very grateful.

Have known Dr Mayet a few years now. He helped me back in 2006 when my husband was terminally ill. Compassionate and honest which saw me through a very difficult time. I have had mental health issues with depression and every time I have gone to him....he listens. He is honest with his opinions which I need and his advice regarding my medication has always been correct. Would I recommend him to someone seeking advice about their mental health issues .... absolutely.

Dr Mayet has looked after my well-being since I returned after a prolonged stay in hospital with severe axonal GBS. For the past two years he has treated me with kindness, respect and understanding. I never feel that anything is too much to ask and can talk things through with ease. He has a holistic approach to treatment which I find refreshing.

Dr Mayet always listens to what you have to say. He is knowledgeable on arthritis and always fights your corner. He always makes you feel your never wasting his time, and is always polite and considerate. The best doctor at the surgery
