My son with learning difficulties,suffers with styes due to anxiety,first time round my son was prescribed antibiotic eye drops for an infected stye which didn’t unfortunately work:-(so I requested an appointment & was very pleasantly surprised to get a call from our family dr mayet:-)He listens to my concerns,he explains treatment options & sends advice electronicly for future occasions too!!He makes enquiries to our well being & has a bedside-telephone manner that many could learn from,he is invested in your all round care & makes you feel he goes above & beyond!This was the first time in covid I had spoken to him,his empathy was for our family not just the stye:-)In my opinion,we are very lucky to have such a caring compassionate & lovely Gp :-) From a family full of diagnoses,we trust him implicitly:-)
