I had to have a suspicious soft tissue polyp removed from my gum which had been misdiagnosed incorrectly previously by several Maxillofacial doctors. So as you can imagine I was extremely anxious and mistrusting of any doctor that I was about to meet. But Dr Anand Lalli went into great length to explain the surgery itself and the potential outcome. The procedure went really well and in fact I never felt the two local anesthetic injection given into my gum. He removed the polyp and took a lot of trouble to make sure the gum surface is smooth to avoid any potential source of either infection or trauma in future. I had no complications post surgery and I only needed to take couple of paracetamol that evening. I normally get even more discomfort just being examined by my dentist. Dr Lalli was very humble when I expressed my satisfaction with my experience during a follow up appointment 3 months later. I felt I had to write this review as people like Dr Lalli deserve being recognized for their skill, care and professionalism which unfortunately is sometimes lacking in NHS.
