The nurses were very good friendly helpful and comforting. I would suggest adding a question to ask patients " do you or have you recently had thrush" this is because I had recently had thrush and so the surgery couldn't go ahead. Although this seems obvious, from a patients perspective it's not something you think about being a problem when you go as your mind is focused on the procedure. I turned up on the day which very emotional and nerve wracking even if you are completely happy with your decision to terminate the pregnancy and went through all the checks and got changed and I'm the surgery room for it not too happen. To prevent other patients going through this experience it would be a useful question to add to both the telephone consultation and the questions on the day.
