The team that I met at the Bristol MSI were wonderful. I felt cared for, and the nurses all understood and sympathised with my decision. The whole experience at Bristol was so professional and the care and the staff were supurb. I felt quite emotional and scared about the procedure but the staff made the experience as positive as possible. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and professionalism.
My only negative experience was the initial phonecall with no medical professional. They were quite abrupt and due to covid they were limited with what they could offer. Until my first face to face consultation I was left scared and concerned and at 6 weeks pregnant knowing I couldn't go through a medical abortion and suffering with sickness, I was left terrified I'd have to wait 4 more weeks for a procedure. These concerns were immediately settled by the wonderful Bristol staff but the initial phone consultation left me very anxious

Was made to feel supported and looked after. Felt like I was not being judged, just helped. Feel very fortunate to have such amazing services available and want to say thank you very much to everyone for their support and care.

I was put at ease completely throughout, everyone was very welcoming and understanding from the moment i arrived.
You are treated with dignity and respect and no judgement.
From the receptionist midwives the day room staff anaesthetist and surgeon thank you all
Also [name removed] who keeps you company throughout you have such a warm presences and it really makes a difference

I was treated with respect and dignity throughout the whole process, and at no point throughout the process did I feel uncomfoerable. Staff were caring, friendly and supportive. The team at Marie Stopes ensured that I was informed throughout, with a real focus on my consent and thoughts on the decision - I was asked multiple times if I was sure about my termination.
