Professor Winters took time to explain clearly what the operation would entail and why it was necessary. There was minimal time between my initial mammogram, the operation and the follow-up appointment. After the operation, I felt only very minimal pain and 6weeks later I have a small, neat scar which will be barely noticeable in due course. The only aspect of my care which could have been better was sitting in the waiting area beforehand (Kingston hospital). A small, very crowded room where it was uncomfortable having to wait after having changed ready for the operation. Overall a very positive experience.
