From my first appointment with Prof Chapman-Sheath , to my recent final "signing off". He filled me with absolute confidence that I was doing the right thing in having a replacement knee . His assurance and honesty about the the operation was very good and although I have an in built fear of hospitals, during the whole procedure I was very relaxed. The team that treated , from the anethaetist, the nurse who looked after me in the recovery ward , the night nurses who kept waking me through the night to give meds, were all superb.And I thank them all. Also the physio apartment took great care in getting me back on my feet very quickly. Many thanks to them all.
