Mr Aziz achieved the best results for my surgery - a complete removal of the tumours and a speedy, complication-free recovery from a large operation. This is in great part due to the excellent patient care that he provides, which encompasses not only the physical side but the emotional aspects of patient recovery. He communicates very well and has made some complicated information accessible to me. No false reassurances; good practical advice. One of his major strengths is that he never patronises his patients. He also has a well-tuned sense of humour - one of the unsung skills of cancer care. Most importantly, he does not mind if patients query his advice. I feel that I can thoroughly trust what he says to me. I am very fortunate to have come under his care. I understand why it is not recommended, but it would help me to see my paperwork/reports prior to the consultation so that I can raise appropriate questions.
