Mr Aziz carried out my operation to remove bowel cancer on 30th October 2021, by keyhole surgery and I remained at The Christie for six days , where I was well looked after by all the staff and visited by Mr Aziz on the ward before I was sent home. I was warned before the operation that I only stood a 50/50 chance of survival so was very pleased to realise in the recovery room that I was still alive. The scar is barely visible after five months and I am full of gratitude as I realise I may not be alive if it were not for Mr Aziz and his team.
