By November 2019 I had been putting of a knee operation for many years because I understood that a return to skiing was not advised. Tim Board reassured me that following his surgery providing I did my physiotherapy properly I would be able to ski. I am very pleased to say I decided to have the total knee replacement as recommended by Tim Board. The operation, recovery and recuperation were slightly less arduous than I had been led to believe. On Monday I returned home from my first skiing holiday since the operation. At the start of the week I skied cautiously by the end I was skiing as well as I ever had. I originally damaged my knee playing rugby and had a cartilage the size of a grapefruit taken out in 1968. I have remained active all my life playing sport and farming for a living. I am now doing all the above, since the operation, in no pain for the first time in many years. I would very much recommend anybody thinking about the pros and cons of having a knee operation to go ahead and get it done. I can not speak too highly of Tim Board and his team
