Tim Board (TB) made me feel calm from the outset. His manner was calm, cool and caring. I was reassured by the fact that he had completed many complicated surgeries of my nature and made it abundantly clear of the risks involved in doing such a procedure. In truth, he gave me better odds than I had heard from others whom I had previously spoken to and I felt reassured that the operation I was to undertake was the right decision for me considering my age, state of health and a wish to enjoy the rest of my life in the event the operation was a success. There was an element of risk and my job is full of risk, but the odds he offered were more than acceptable and I felt that if anyone could complete the procedure with success, I was looking at him.
