To say that Mrs Karat transformed my life is no exaggeration. She did her utmost to remove all the barriers that so far prevented me having reconstruction, and eventually found a surgeon who was willing to do my surgery for me. I am so thrilled with the result, after five very long years. Her willingness to go the extra mile, and also her professionalism has amazed me. She always kept to her word, and ensured tests and examinations were carried out within the correct time frames, something which, to be frank amazed me. Until I was under her care, I always had to remind the professionals I dealt with that certain tests, such as mammograms etc., were due. During these difficult and unsettling times for the NHS, I am thrilled to be able to write and commend this surgeon.
