I have just had a hip replacement operation carried out by Mr Shah. I met him for 2 appointments before the operation and found him very understanding, willing to listen to my views and clear in his advice. He came to see me after the operation and I have since had another post-op appointment with him. Throughout our interactions he has clearly been focused on my particular circumstances and I have always felt that I was being looked at as an individual, rather than just another unit in a surgical production line. I have been very happy with my care from Mr Shah and the other members of the team at Guy's Hospital
