I couldn't walk properly but with the help of Mr Arzoglou and his team I am now in a better condition. I can walk and use my leg and hand now. Mr Arzoglou and his team carried out a successful operation for me and I can never be thankful enough. Words can not describe how greatful I am bcos without them I don't know what situation I might be now. The hospital staff's are wonderful and caring and supportive. I want to say thanks to Mr Arzoglou and his team for the great job they are doing for people. Many thanks

Mr Arzoglou is very pleasant and as soon as I met him with my wife to discuss my condition we both left confident I had made the right choice of surgeon. He explained the situation well and my operation was undertaken and I was discharged later the next day My condition improved and from my past experience of spinal surgery improvement continues over quite a few months and I am finding this the case.

Visiting Mr Arzoglou for the first time, was a great a wonderful greeting - a smile and a handshake - his introduction about who he is, what he does and his expert field. He asked me what he could do for me. I felt immediately I was in the good hands of an expert. Mr Arzoglou listened. He acknowledged & was already prepared with my previous scan results which I had never seen. He readily described why I am feeling the pain, what my body is doing and helped remind me of symptoms. He immediately put the fear to rest that the pain is not linked to any other illness - how very reassuring. He checked with me regarding past injections, recognised my fear about having more, described how his injections would work, acknowledged alertness from the patient is imperative to ensure a successful result. I understood. He checked my current use of pain relief, exercise routines, other relief methods and offered additional options to manage and reduce pain. a format of when injections are required was explained and confirmed he did not feel this time injections were needed but a return visit to him probably would. Anything to ask it check with him - it was a no rush appointment. So glad I had a personable consultant who easily made me feel in control and at the same time reassured, without patronising. Fabulous.

I am managing to walk again and am so very grateful to Mr Arzoglou for listening to me and diagnosing my condition. I was referred to see Mr Arzoglou in February 2017, and had spinal fusion surgery in May 2017. Mr Arzoglou inspired confidence from the moment my partner and I met him, we were impressed! I'd had numerous tests prior to meeting Mr Arzoglou but they failed to diagnose my condition. This was a difficult operation to go through but without it my life was looking very dismal, with a future of numerous drugs to manage my pain. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Arzoglou, he is so very caring and even made a special effort to come in and see me on his days off to check on my progress. Thank you so much, and thank you to the staff on Ward 8 at Castle Hill and to Julianna for answering my queries.
