I had an operation last April as my neck was compacting into my spine and was preventing me walking. I felt I was days from being permanently in a wheelchair. I do now walk with two sticks but with virtually no pain. Mr Arzoglou and his team explained everything to me and acted very promptly which I feel was very necessary. My one criticism would be the after care. I have only recently seen Mr Arzoglou in December and I could have done with an appointment much earlier as I am suffering from spasticity which needs addressing. It also took a long time to see the neurologist physio (Sue Cook). I do have to say though she was fantastic and helped me immensely. When I did see Mr Arzoglou he was very thorough and gave me all the information I required and assured me that in the event of my needing him again he had noted that a quick response would be given. I wish to place my thanks to the department for all they have done for me.
