Mr Satyadas was recommended to me by a colleague as I was suffering from what I thought was Gall Stones. I had the scan at the Manchester Royal Infirmary and he reviewed this and confirmed that I needed my Gall Bladder removing as soon as possible. He explained the procedure to me and the potential complications in easy to understand language and what could be expected afterwards. I had not had surgery since having my tonsils out many years ago and whilst I was nervous, he relaxed me and made me feel confident in him and the procedure. I had the procedure at the Manchester Royal, and I know it was a difficult procedure due to part of the gall bladder having died and was causing problems in other areas of the abdomen, but the procedure was successfully completed by key hole. I had to stay in over night and all the staff from theatre, anaesthetics and ward staff were amazing. The aftercare has been excellent as well. Mr Satyadas was attentive and communicated excellently. I can highly recommend Mr Satyadas as a surgeon and he has the best interests of the patient at heart. I hope I dont but if I do need further surgery, he will be the first surgeon that I will see. He is a credit to the NHS and his profession.
