After seeing Mr. Lambert for the first time I have every confidence in him and after a thorough examination I will put my faith in him to do the operation.

A very kind, considerate and gentle consultant who makes you feel comfortable and totally trusting in his capabilities and expertise. I never felt I was wasting his time and
he always showed an interest in me as a person and how I would manage after surgery.
I would recommend him as a highly competent surgeon with a modern and sympathetic approach to his work.
I cannot think of any way in which there is improvement needed to give greater care - his care is superlative.

I saw Mr Lambert at Spire Bushey Hospital, and currently awaiting my surgery which will be just six days later.
Mr Lambert spent a great deal of time with me in my consultation, made me feel at ease and took a great interest in my problems. He was extremely thorough in his examination, and looked at the complete picture to understand what was going on.
I have previously had surgery on my shoulders and can say that Mr Lambert has taken the greatest time and care to understand my problems. I have faith in his abilities. I am a keen sportsperson, and Mr Lambert took the attitude of how to get me back to doing more sport, rather than trying to say I may not be able to. Which I appreciate.
Mr Lambert has come very highly recommended by a number of physiotherapists and other doctors, and is widely recognised as one of the UK's top shoulder surgeons. From my experience so far I can understand why.

I saw Mr Lambert early April 2016. I had to wait a few weeks for the appointment which is the only criticism I have. I found him to have a kind, gentle and professional approach and whilst I still do not have my diagnosis, I feel totally confident that Mr Lambert will do the best for me, his patient.
I know I am in the best hands for my complaint.

Simon Lambert is one of the very best. He is an expert in his field and a superb surgeon. Furthermore he is a caring, considerate and wonderful doctor. He listens carefully,is unhurried and makes
the patient and family feel completely confident even though surgery required is complex .

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in the shoulder and elbow. I also hold an honorary academic appointment within University College London. Having worked at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), a specialist orthopaedic hospital, where I created a research-active, educationally-acclaimed, science-based service, integrated with and recognising the extreme importance of expert rehabilitation, I have now moved to University College London Hospital. We enjoy a national reputation for clinical excellence and clinical research, which I fully expect to contribute to over the next decade. We value our national and international collaborations, and expect to develop these further with the evolution of the service. As a component of this effort my work with the AO has offered opportunities to younger colleagues while bringing the values of the AO to a wide variety of surgeons and therapists. Truly international collaboration and exchange of ideas clearly enhances and promotes the efficacy of patient-directed care and forms the basis for the motivation behind my development of the shoulder and elbow service at UCLH.
