Mr Lambert's great skill as a surgeon is matched by his pre- and post-operative care. After a thorough investigation into my shoulder problem he explained the situation in terms a layman could understand, and set out the options I had. After further discussion we opted for a total shoulder replacement. The operation was done at Spire Bushey, where I received the best possible care from Mr Lambert and the hospital's nursing team. A year on, I have been discharged from Mr Lambert's care after a final X-ray and examination. I am left with new shoulder with good range of motion, and strength very nearly equal to the other shoulder, with a barely-visible scar. I expect continued improvement, helped by dedicated exercises. I cannot think of any way in which Mr Lambert could offer better care.
