Mr Awad was my surgeon when I had gastric sleeve surgery. Mr Awad called me prior to surgery and sent all the information I needed to ensure I was informed of any possible complications that I might have. Also the benefits of having the surgery would support me following the procedure. Following my surgery Mr Awad came to me the following morning to inform me of how my operation had gone, and shown me images of my operation, he found a small benign growth which he remove and sent off to be tested. Mr Awad wrote to my GP and myself keeping us informed. Prior to surgery Mr Awad was so reassuring, informative and put me ant great ease explaining everything I was going to experience. He called me after 3 months following surgery to see how I was and was keen to hear my success as well as my challenges I faced. Mr Awad listened and gave me advice now and for my future journey. Mr Awad genuinely wants to make a change in people’s life. I don’t feel I can say what improvement he could make as he made this process much easier for me with the above reasons.
