I first met Mr Awad at my initial consultation in February 2017. He listened to my medical history, took comprehensive notes and then planned the most suitable surgery for my needs. I booked my surgery with Mr Awad through Tonic and I can't commend their professionalism and support enough. I was supported every step of the way in my lead up to my surgery on 27th April, which was carried out in the Derby Royal Private Wing. On the day of my surgery, I was collected from home by a chauffeur provided by tonic and driven up to the Derby Royal Hospital. I met with various medical professionals, nurses, physio, and just before my surgery, met with Mr Awad who went through everything again with me and made me feel relaxed and well informed about my procedure. The surgery went to plan with no complications and I was back in my private room in 2 hours. I had round the clock monitoring and support and Mr Awad visited every day to ensure my care and recovery was going well. On the morning of my discharge, Mr Awad sat down with me and went through my after care and medications and ensured I had all the contact numbers I needed. He advised that he would see me in his follow up clinic in about 8 weeks time. The care and support I have been given throughout my weight loss journey has been amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better consultant or company to help me through this. You have helped me take the first steps in getting control back of my life, and my only regret is that I didn't come to you sooner. Thank you so much for everything x
