Mr Sachin Salvi has now performed 3 procedures for me over the last 3 years at Spire Claremont Hospital in Sheffield. Initially a bilateral blepharoplasty which was VERY successful, and more recently lens replacements in both eyes for cataracts. Having had first class treatment for the blepharoplasty I did not hesitate about returning to seem him for the cataract surgery. It was like visiting friend. Mr Salvi once again went to great lengths to discuss the operation and was meticulous in taking measurements using the latest technology to give me the correct IOL for each eye. On the day of my first operation once again all final checks were made and the whole procedure took approximately 35 minutes. Immediately after the operation my sight was improved 100% and within 24 hours colours were so much more vivid. I was given two lots of drops to use over a four-week period and given a follow up appointment to have the stitch removed, eye pressures taken, and a date given for my second IOL replacement. I am now 4 days post op from my second procedure, and I am absolutely ‘over the moon’ with the results. My vision has not been this good for a long time. I now have 20/20 vision and I am delighted with the outcome. Mr Salvi is a perfect gentleman who takes great pride in his work and goes to great lengths to discuss all stages of surgery with his patients. He has a great team working alongside him. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Mr Salvi for ANY ophthalmic problems. He is a leading surgeon both locally and internationally.
