I bought my son in who is 10. My son had been experiencing ear problems for the last 18 months and had previously had ear infections. He had built up a fear loop about his ear being looked out or touched due to a fail attempt to have them syringed at GP surgery. My son was very anxious prior to the visit, but very quickly was made relaxed by the staff and Dr Hone. Dr Hone spoke very softly and calmly to my son, reassuring him about how many ears he had looked in. He was also able to reflect on his own children's experience in offering them microsuction and how they tolerated the procedure. Throughout the procedure Dr Hone explained and demonstrated what he was going to do and what equipment he was going to use and what it would feel like. Although my son was uncomfortable in having his ears worked on he received the best treatment successfully and felt instant relief. The level of care was second to none.

Mr Hone was everything I look for in a doctor. He listened, and dealt with the problem in a very efficient manner. He put me at ease and gave time, which isn’t always available.
