Mr Hone is friendly professional and very much cares for his patients.
The after received is also second to none, having had my procedure carried out privately being unable to wait for a referral appointment to come through via NHS I can honestly say it was absolutely worth it.

Mr Hone was professional, reassuring and made sure we were aware of all our options when it came to recent surgery for our youngest daughter.
His team have been consistently amazing and always listened carefully to any concerns/queries before getting back to us as quickly as possible.
We would highly recommend Mr Hone and his team and we cannot thank them enough for navigating us through what could have been a very stressful time.

Mr Hone is highly qualified , technically skilled , professionally knowledgeable and up to date in his speciality . I have found him consistently friendly , informative and empathic.

I was extremely nervous about having this operation given that I had previously experienced a stroke following a very similar procedure. Mr Hone put my mind at rest from the first consultation. I arrived at the One Ashford on the day of my surgery feeling confident that the treatment I would receive would benefit my condition and it has, greatly.

Seeing Mr Hone was my first experience of private healthcare and i couldn't say enough nice things about my treatment. Mr Hone was extremely patient with me especially as i have other health conditions and am disabled. He was able to explain the medical issues in a way i understood, thoroughly examine the situation and treated it successfully. The day of my surgery it was lovely and reassuring to see him and be talked through what would happen. Overall, he is a lovely gentleman with and i would highly recommend him.

Robert Hone is a Consultant ENT surgeon at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust and has over 10 years surgical experience. He trained throughout South East England, rotating through ENT units in London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
He undertook a prestigious, nationally appointed Advanced Head & Neck Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. He completed his paediatric ENT training at Great Ormond Street Hospital for children. During training, he completed a Masters of Surgery, for which he attained a Distinction as well as all necessary post graduate exams. He qualified from Guy’s, Kings and St Thomas’ Hospital School of medicine in 2008 and completed an intercalated Batchelor of Science degree in Physiology in 2005.
Robert Hone believes in the highest standard of care and places patients at the centre of the consultation and decision making process. He takes time to listen and explore patients concerns and symptoms via a thorough history and examination.
